The post Ledger Security in Question After $2.5 Million Stolen from Nano S Wallet appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News
Ledger’s reputation is in question as a Reddit user @anchor_drops claimed to have lost $2.5 million worth of digital assets; including 10 Bitcoins and $1.5 million in NFTs- stolen from their Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. Although they had their seed phrase stored securely and only performed safe transactions, the user stated that the hack happened two months of wallet inactivity. As such, new questions regarding Ledger’s security measures have been again rising with some people thinking, there could have been some flaws in the hardware, others convinced it was human fault. As of now, there is still no response from Ledger.
